Why should you not get angry? Some tips to have control over yourself.

 



When I get angry  I wish to break and smash each and every object in front of me ( sometimes even people )into PIECES. πŸ‘ΊπŸ‘ΊAnd sometimes I do it as well.
Otherwise I rush into the kitchen and eat whatever I find out. I eat until my anger runs out. I get so overly anxious that I  hurt myself unknowingly. It so happens that the wound doesn't hurt when you don't see it and suddenly it starts to hurt  when you  just have a look at it!!😳
When in anger we attempt to do the things we don't even dare do when we are sober.

When we are angry the heart beat rate increases. As well as our  body temperature and breathing rates. Anger triggers the body's fight or flight response.

It is also responsible for anxiety, high blood pressure and stress. It sometimes causes cardiovascular risk which can be really fatal.

It has become one of the burning issues nowadays during this pandemic. Most of us have lost our jobs, daily wages of earning and are  facing a problem we have never faced before. We may lose our patience and understanding anytime. We may get angry at small and petty matters.

So it is better if we have anger management skills and identify those things that is likely to stimulate our anger. It prevents us from destroying our healthy relations and long-term health risks.

So it has become really important for us to control over our anger. Some of the things we can do when we find ourselves in this situation.


Seven tips to control over your anger:

      1.Take a deeper breathe:

  It's better to take a longer breathe. Close your eyes  and Inhale air for five seconds and exhale slowly. Repeat these for at least ten times. This reduces your breathing rates and makes you calmer.

      2.Repeat your favourite lines:

It can be from your favourite movie or your self creation. Or it can be from your favourite books. Those lines brings you a positive vibes and helps restore peace in your mind.

       3.Relax your muscles:

Close your hands into a ✊ fist and slowly open your palms. Repeat this   to allow circulation in your to your body and mind.

       4.Walk around:
Take a stroll at a nearby park or just roam around your house. Make sure you get away from the stimulant that raised you anger.

       5.Splash some cold water on your Face or                   have a cool shower:
This helps restore freshness and helps your mind to think rationally.
As well drink two glasses of water to calm yourself down.

       6.Use humour and smile :

Just a little curve on your face makes the person opposite you ,feel concerned. Use of humour and little jokes can help reduce tension to some extent.

        7.Talk to a friend:
The more we express the less burdened we feel. The more you let it out the more relieved you feel. So talk to a reliable friends or relatives for genuine suggestions.


   If you are to apply any one of the above mentioned tips to have control over your anger ; repeat it  every time you are angry it definitely does saves  you from possible health risks as well as other realistic problems.

It's some hormonal changes in our body that decreases the level of cortisol hormone. Since cortisol hormone is the stress decreasing hormone, the decrease in its level increases our rate of anger. The adrenaline and non adrenaline rush in the body have negative effects in our health.  

Let's save our energy and not waste it on anger. Instead we can  use it for some productive purposes. We can write a journal or read a favourite book or watch a favourite movie. Its necessary to have control over our anger but harmful when anger controls you. So let's not anger control us and have a bit of patience.πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
